Accessible only by boat, this tiny little cute Lighthouse is located on the famous Havelock Island. It is one of the oldest lighthouses of Havelock Island. You can see at least three distinct shades of blue in those pristine waters leading up to the lighthouse. The water body surrounding this lighthouse is also called the “Lighthouse” and is famous among locals and tourists for its pristine surroundings and its spectacular coral reefs. As a result, it is also a hotspot for the various Scuba Diving Companies on this Island to organize several underwater activities around this ‘Lighthouse’ area. My favorite among those underwater activities is the Sea Walk, Scuba Diving, and Snorkeling.
Standing (not so) tall at only 13 feet, this prominent white Lighthouse makes its beautiful presence known by piercing through Havelock’s Blue Water Horizon in all of its Achromatic Brilliance. And, why wouldn’t it? After all, a pure white object like this is known to fully reflect and scatter all the visible wavelengths of light. Despite being extremely old, this lighthouse is fully functional, emitting a white flash at a frequency of every 10 seconds. Even to this day, it continues to guide several sailors and fishermen to find a safe way back home.
Just like this lighthouse, the good news of the salvation that we have in our LORD JESUS CHRIST may be very old but even to this day, it is continuously reflected through our lives, safely guiding other lost souls to find their own safe path back home.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, GOD’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of HIM (JESUS), Who called you out of darkness into HIS wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
